The Rosslare Harbour/Kilrane Environment Group was established in 2004 to look after the environmental issues of Rosslare Harbour and the nearby village of Kilrane.
This voluntary group, now numbering fifteen, including four junior members, meet every Saturday morning and on Wednesday evenings during the Spring/Summer months to help maintain a pleasant and colourful landscape for visitors and locals to enjoy.
The group have won numerous awards over the years, some twenty in total so far, through the annual Wexford County Council Environmental Awards scheme including ‘Best Community Project to Improve Accessibility in Gardens and Parks’ ‘Best Coastal Management Initiative ‘ (1st prize) to name but a few.
