First established in the mid 1980’s by local resident Seamus Kirwan, the ‘Secret Garden’ has evolved into a haven of seasonal changes to provide a place of colour a tranquillity for all to enjoy.
The garden, which in recent years is maintained by the Rosslare Harbour/Kilrane Environment Group in collaboration with Tús – Community work placement initiative, Solas – Further education and training authority, and Kilrane/Rosslare Harbour Men’s Shed, is part of the looped walk on the Wexford Walking Trails route and is a ‘must see’ destination that will surprise and delight the unsuspecting visitor.
